So we are finally starting these series based on the days of the weeks. So different days will cover different genres like Murderous Mondays, Folklore Fridays and Scary Sundays. So In this Scary Sunday’s Series we will be covering True horror stories that happened with people. Today’s story happened with my friend when she was very little and she still sometimes hear voices in her home at night. So lets see what happened.
1. Aunt's Death : The Beginning
In 1970’s in a small village, lived a brother and sister. They were joyful and happy. But one day the sister got chicken pox. Due to lack of vaccination at the time, the condition of the small girl got worse and eventually she died. Soon after her death, the brother started seeing her sister. It was so real, like she is right in front of him, talking to him. Their parents thought it as his imagination as they were close, so everyone disregarded this for many years.
2. Others can now see Aunt's Spirit
Years passed and the Brother got married and had his first child (My friend, who told me this story). My friend was little when this happened, the visions of her aunt got stronger for her father. So strong that one day the father jumped off the roof and injured his head. He became mentally unstable after that.
People accused the wife for practicing black magic. Too much chaos happened but with lots of treatments, his condition got stabilized. Even after this incident the father got visions of his sister. It was the time when he was going to have his second child. At this time more people now can see the spirit of the Aunt. Everyone used to sleep together in one room on the floor.
And on one same night my friend was sleeping with her family, and suddenly she woke up and saw a little girl around her age, standing in the hallway. She asked her if she will play with her. My friend was terrified and she screamed, due to which others woke up and saw her as well. The very next day they did prayers and rituals in order to ward off the spirit from children.
One day, My friend was sleeping with her other aunt who came to visit them. During the night-time now people in the house started to sleep in one room due to fear, and again during the middle of the night my friend was feeling uneasy and she woke up only to see that spirit sitting on the bedside where her other aunt was, she screamed again but this time the spirit was gone.
After few days my friend’s mother also saw the same spirit at the door of her room. Then they called a priest who performed some prayers for several days. And finally the visions were over.
3. The Aftermath
The Visions were over but the trauma that it caused on my friend’s family is for lifetime. Till this date my friend is not able to go out at night after 12 am. She says, sometimes she suddenly wakes up in the middle of the night with a deep sense of fear. Also her family members says in night sometimes they can hear very faint noise of a child, they never gets the direction from which it is coming but they hear it.
Experiencing such paranormal activities, and such supernatural events so closely can be traumatizing. I have never experienced anything like this on the first hand but listening to others gives me goosebumps.
